Do you want to work with hardware development where you can follow ideas all the way to a finished product?

At Aros, we develop customized solutions within electric motors, mechanics, and control systems for industrial and mobile applications. Here, development and production work closely together, allowing you to be involved throughout the entire development journey – from concept and design to verification and industrialization.

We believe in broad roles, close collaboration, and a working style where people take responsibility, contribute ideas, and work closely with both the technology and the product.

What you will work with

As a Hardware Design Engineer at Aros, you develop electronic solutions used in demanding industrial and automotive applications. Here, you work closely with both the technology and the product, alongside colleagues in software, mechanics, testing, and production.

You have overall responsibility for the hardware design – from early concepts and design to verification and industrialization. The role involves making technical trade-offs between performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability, while contributing your expertise and ideas throughout the entire development process.

Since development and production are located close to each other, you have the opportunity to follow your solutions all the way to the finished product. You work on several projects in parallel and collaborate with both internal teams and our customers' development organizations, influencing technical solutions and working methods.

Main responsibilities
  • Develop hardware solutions from concept to verification and industrialization
  • Circuit and schematic design
  • PCB design
  • Testing, verification, and troubleshooting
  • Collaboration with software, mechanics, testing, and production
Are you the right person for us?

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in electronics and are motivated by solving real-world problems. You enjoy taking responsibility, collaborating with others, and working closely with both the technology and the final product. Not all answers are obvious from the start. Therefore, we are looking for you who like to explore different solutions, take initiative, and contribute your perspectives along the way.

Since the role involves collaboration with both colleagues and customers, you need to be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

We would like you to have:

  • A degree as a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent work experience
  • Good knowledge of OrCAD Capture or similar schematic tools
  • Experience in circuit board design
  • Good component knowledge

Knowledge and experience in power electronics, hardware-level programming, requirements management, EMC, DFM/DFT, and electric drive systems are meritorious.

About the process

Since this position is advertised during the summer, we will begin the selection process in mid-August. Once the selection is underway, we will get back to all candidates, regardless of whether they proceed in the process or not.
